![]() While the primary goal is to map the world of Toril, it is my hope that others will use these maps to add their own stories and adventures. More about these lands are detailed on the Sundered Realms page. The cultures are a blend of Norse and Aboriginal peoples. These lands are rumored to be the place of origin for ancient races long extinct. These are newly created regions known as the Sundered Realms, spanning the northwest portion of the continent of Anchororme. The reason I opted for 10 mile hexes is mainly because the map has a ruler with 100 mile ticks, which is how I measured as closely as possible for the hex overlay. It is not 100% precise on the hex measurements and it is not 16 mile hexes (sorry grognards and hex snobs ) ), but each hex is roughly 10 miles. I made 2 versions - one with a black hex overlay and one with a more transparent hex overlay in case anyone preferred a lighter hex color. In any case, I uploaded them on my blog over here. I know there have been a couple of posts on this topic, but I decided to take a stab at overlaying a hex grid on the NW Faerun map that WOTC released on their website a few years ago.
